Job Description

  • Evaluate shop floor and business flow conditions at the customer location.
  • Develop improvement strategies using best-in-class manufacturing practices.
  • Verify and validate improvement results.
  • Design and implement sustenance mechanisms for long-term performance.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Strong mastery of Lean Manufacturing concepts.
  • Data-driven and analytical mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills with customer-facing confidence.
  • Ability to influence and convince stakeholders.
  • Strong follow-up and client management capabilities.
  • Flexibility to travel as per project requirements.
  • Hands-on experience in Production Planning, Costing, Inventory Management, and ERP.
  • Ability to analyze problems and provide practical, effective solutions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or related fields).
  • Extensive experience in Lean deployment and Kaizen event leadership or facilitation.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification or strong problem-solving tool expertise is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean and Continuous Improvement tools including:
    Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Line Balancing, Visual Management,
    Lean Daily Management, 5S, Kanban, SMED, PFEP, TPM, Heijunka,
    Problem Solving, and FMEA.
  • Outstanding facilitation and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-directed, well-organized, and detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead without direct authority.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
